I chose this organization because they focus on making a positive change in the lives of children that are in need around the world and in the United States. They have been active since the 1930's. I like the way they support and advocate for children. They also have different program and take donations to help their organization. The organization is also a voice for these children. I like one of their goals which is to motivate and mobile Americans in making children a success.

Hello Guadalupe, the Save the Children organization is a great organization that advocates for the well-being of all children. Usually, I think of this organization as helping children in underdeveloped nations, such as parts of Africa and South America. I was surprised to see the job of an early head start teacher as a position with Save the Children. This is a local job, and I would have thought Save the Children worked on a larger, global scale. One job you mentioned stood out to me, the director of global sponsorship. This sounds like an interesting job that I would have associated with the Save the Children organization. I think I would chose to pursue jobs more along these lines if I were to work with Save the Children.

Hi Guadalupe,
Your post is very informative and resourceful for seeking job application. As an early childhood educator, I am very impressed with the missions of each of the organizations.
In addition, I feel that I meet the qualification for most of the openings of the Save the Children website, however I am not looking to relocate at this time.
Thanks for sharing such a great wealth of information.
